How the connection works
Sabah Tourism lists shared taxis or minibuses from the Padang Merdeka area towards Kudat. Private transfers are another option, with an exact endpoint listing also found on 12Go. These are different service types: do not assume a charter offer is a scheduled public bus. Confirm the current departure location, waiting arrangements and luggage capacity with the provider.
Before departure
Kudat town and accommodation near the northern beaches can be far apart. Give the full property name and location when requesting a quote, and ask whether a continuation beyond town is included. Visits to Sumangkap or a Rungus longhouse need extra time and prior agreement; they are not automatic stops on a transfer. Settle the return arrangement before heading to a quieter coastal property.
