In Borneo this frog inhabits lowland alluvial and peat-swamp forest, including inland Mulu. Males call from vegetation one to three metres up: rapid notes build in intensity. The tadpole remains scientifically undescribed in the current account, so larval habits should not be borrowed from related frogs.
